This research is aimed at finding how
organizational culture and
leadership affect the
performances of the
employees of BKB-PK Palembang in 2005. The population of the research consists of 157 people who are the employees of BKB-PK Palembang. The sample numbers 78 out of the total 157. The technique of
sampling used is stratified random sampling. The data used were obtained from the answers to the questionnaires given to each respondent. In anlyzing the data, the author used multiple linear regression model which involved two variables, namely independent variable which consists of: organizational culture (X1) and leadership (X2) and dependent variable that is: performances (Y). The equation of linear regression obtained is: Y = 0,218 + 0,656 (X1) + 0, 285 (X2).
The statistical analysis shows that both simultaneously and separately, the independent variable, namely organizational culture (X1) and leadership (X2) significantly affect the performances of the employees of BKB-PK Palembang. The organizational culture seems to have greater influences on the performances of the employees of BKB-PK Palembang. The technique of sampling used is stratified random sampling.
