Hey, let us now see how can we control our anger. Anger is the first emotion humans experience and the last we learn to manage. Usually anger happens due to interpersonal interactions. Though we see an external event making us angry, physiologically it is we who make ourselves angry. Dealing directly with angry leads to learning and strengthening of oneself. Indirect dealing leads to frustration, physical and physiological ailments, groupism and lowered personal organizational effectiveness. The anger cycle- We percieve a threat and assumptions are made about dangers that we may have to face due to the perceived threat. We then make an assesment of our power to handle it. If we feel powerless , anger is the result and viceversa. We act in order to reduce it.Then how to deal with anger???Recognize and own the anger. Is it mild, moderate or intense. Knowing this can help us assess our ability to deal with it. Diagnose the threat: who, what..... What i m losing or going to lose, why is it a threat? Share these perceptions with the others and obtain feed back.
