The tools you will need can be found at TheNet.com where you can share light personal info about yourself and family. You can share photos and meet other young couples. This site requires membership but if you want to build a site that does not require membership go to myevent.com, angelfire.com or geocities.com.

First choose a template you want for a design, fill out a few forms, and upload your photos. You will have limited design options. There will be advertisements that appear on your page.
You may purchase a domain for $60.00 a year from a company like netsol.com.
Such sites offer easy to use templates they also take care of technical stuff.
Use low resolution images. If you jam your web site with lots of big files and photos, it will take forever for these pages to load.

If you let someone in your home page it is like letting them in your home. You want to be friendly and welcoming but do not include names and numbers like your birthdays. Do not give your address or the dates you will be traveling out of town.
Sharing is good, but up to a certain limit, share, but do not get too personal. Do not post info about someone in your circle; like a new job or pregnacy unless you clear it with the person who this is happening to. Good luck with your web site
