I got the notion to take up the accent conscious South and skip a beat everytime the Scottish broadcaster starts up .. with
his jokes and amazing good humour. But I got my knuckles wrapped here in the South and told that they have a bit of an "accent" problem.
"Who" I enquired. "You" "No" : she
replied .. "The Scots". I replied that its not much to
expert an expert to do the translation for you afterall a lot of Southern English sounds like all our hard work falling on deaf ears if every sound you make is silenced by the South and pronounced by the Scots and the BBC. Its all about job creation I guess. Lady''s Day ... a woman may propose marriage to a man . . I will do it .. take the work!
