Doing
Business in Developing Nations with
Child Labor By Teodorico Magda teodoricomagda@yahoo.com
International trade has been zooming greatly in substantial volumes from the immediate past years up to this very point of time. This is partly due to increasing travel worldwide, and also due to quick mass access to modern communication facilities. These activities have fueled further growth of world trade followed by more sourcing and
flowing of
investments elsewhere. The ongoing process of globalization, which some countries would simply like to proceed and not to reverse, has been felt to benefit more other countries than the U.S. in general. And this has caused mixed feelings among the Americans. With further rise of international trading, the point have come to free trade, which the majority feels a good concept. Free trading results to lower prices accompanied by extended growth of the
economic systems. With more investments flowing, a certain publicly-held American firm, “
ChocoAm” {assigned, fictitious trade name}, that manufactures chocolate for instance, has planned to have its manufacturing activity located in developing country where child labor is allowed. The use of child labor in worldwide business has noticeably increased in the most recent few years. Almost all fields of production are supplied with child’s labor force.
