True Essence Of Education

Book Summary by: sumachagala

Original Author: sumachagala
Education is…
“What remains after one has forgotten everything that he learned in his school.”
--Albert Einstein
Are we missing the true essence of education! History prooves this to be true. The education is not merely about reading books ,getting marks. It should be something that leads us to become a complete human being. The education should give children moral essence in behaviour ,an edge towards humanity and ethical values which are very much missing in todays world. If this can be done ,there will no more be terrorism on this earth.A person cannot become complete without this moral education.A broad step should be taken to implement this kind of subject to teach moral values in students curriculum in the early childhood since their hearts will be pure & tender in that age .Then there will be no more Violence nor tears. The whole world will be enveloped in safe hands of peace !!!!!!!!!

    True Essence of Education

I agree. Education must play a big role in improving the lives of people and their societies. However, interesting the summary as it is, there is a gap between the conception of the essence of true education and the outcome. I don't hear much about the actual transaction or interchange of true education. For instance, how can true education be transmitted to learners in order for them to produce the outcome of attaining better morals. Surely, some inputs on this is crucial in the context of the current state of education failing our children and communities.
