Basic
training to be imparted to children at a very young age, i.e. when they are toddlers. This includes ethics, discpline,
personal hygiene, respect to elders, sharing their personal belongings, fixing a time limit for everything that they do, etc. The parents should be supportive, caring, so the
children build a sense of belonging. If you'd like to traing a well-behaved child, help your child become a successful and responsible adult, as this will save the time and aggravation that a parent would be trying to spend the ineffective techniques. Sometimes there are unique ways one can adopt to train their child. Some of them use the opposite technique of the expert book recommends. Try and employ limited amounts of corporal punishment when the experts are screaming that spanking is the equivalent of child abuse. Set boundaries and enforce them. When it comes to child
training, what really matters is the results and unfortunately, you don't get second chances!! If you want to know what works, look to people who have successfuly raised children - the last thing you should do is ask a self promoting expert.
