The cultural background of the learner.
Dissimilarities in native and foreign cultural settings must also be considered
in preparing materials for teaching. The learner must know not only what and how to say something but also when it is appropriate. In Poland, for example, there is a tradition of saying “dziekuje” to table companions at the end of every meal just before rising. No such custom exists in English speaking countries, even though the corresponding expression “thank you” is used on plentiful other occasions.
1.   Student’s home environment.
Necessary to every student''s flourishing expansion and accomplishment is a cooperative relationship between home and school. This cooperative relationship can be developed and maintained if parents, students, and school personnel accomplish their everyday jobs. In order to work well together, there is a clear set of rules, which help us to function as a community. These regulations allow students and staff to feel protected and sheltered in the school throughout the process of learning. School rules are based on common sense and respect, which will allow us to accomplish goals.
Goals
- To create and maintain a safe and orderly environment in which teachers can teach and students can learn.
- To develop the self-discipline in students that leads to mature adulthood.
The elementary years are a time for development the enlargement and expansion of willpower in immature children. With the intention of grow educationally, socially, and emotionally, children require surroundings in which there are concerned adults who will set firm, consistent, positive limits while providing warmth and support for their appropriate behaviour. It is the responsibility of the teachers and the administrators to develop student''s intellectual, physical, and creative abilities, as well as their character. It is important that children not only gain knowledge of all that they are capable of learning, but also develop a sense of truthfulness, conscientiousness, and a respect for the rights of others.
