Teacher or guru or next parents. Should Teacher be punished if he/she takes strict actions against a
misbehaving student?
What is exactly expected from a teacher?
I have some points in favour of teachers who take this challenging career option when the most talented people of the society opt for other most lucrative career options.
• Teacher''s role should not be restricted only to explain what is there in the text books.
• Their role is more than teaching because a student spends more than 8 hrs in school till 12th Standard.
•Like a doctor who takes responsibility of saving lives with prior
authorization , a teacher should also be prior authorized by parents to what extent a teacher should go if a students is found not following the descipline or
misbehaving.
•This prior authorization should not be general in nature.
•It should be student specific.
•There should be some broad guidelines for which there is no need of prior authorization.
•There should be periodic evalaution of these guidelines and as far as specific desciplinary measures are concerned, parents should be consulted on individual basis.
•Parents should should have prior information for any measures being taken against the students.
