is the key factor as per as progress is concern.Every government is framing their educational plans according to the need of time.
education today has become more complex due to vast societal change and the new insight in the field of pedagogy.There have been tremondous advances in science and technology and more in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Use of ICT in education is become very necessory.Progress is mostly depend upon the acquintance with ICT.Traditional way of teaching is not sufficient to deal with the students.Our
teachers should acquire the knowledge of progressive aids.Traditional ''chalk and talk'' method is now outdated.Computor,internet,laptop,OHP,LCD etc.all these are prime teaching aids of todays school.
But most of the teachers,both in Urban and Rural areas,are not that much enthusiastic with these aids.Still they are pursuing for old methods.It is must to change their attitude in regard to ICT and make them friendly towards it.
Measures in this regards:
-ICT training should be compulsory in pre-survice and in-survice teacher education programme.
-All electronic resources should provide to school with enough number.
-Regular inspection in this regard is compulsory.
-Teachers facility should be judged in respect of their ICT literacy.
Flexibility is the core aspect of educational machnism .So,teacher and school should continuely update themselves according to the demand of time.Many new trends are knocking the door of teachers.Their usebility is mostly depends upon the response of teachers.Because,always remember teachers are the pillor stone of any nation !
