The
English Grammar and Syntax lessons,
Grammar Bites and
Syntax Bites, were created in order to facilitate both teachers and learners, in cases of abstruse grammar and syntax phenomena.
They appeal to progressive teachers of English, who wish to apply a more modern approach and prominence to the teaching subject, and also to students of English, over 15 years old, who want to study the Grammar and Syntax phenomena of the English language, on their own.
These lessons are ideal as a first level approach to each phenomenum, as well as a helpful tool towards the consolidation or revision of each phenomenum, before exams.
All the lessons are in the form of Powerpoint presentations, using color, animation and sound effects, where necessary.
The lessons of Grammar Bites and Syntax Bites include only the theory of the English Grammar and Syntax, while for each lesson, there is a reference to free drills, relevant to the corresponding phenomenum or, a respective "Tests Bite", if someone prefers the template of a Powerpoint presentation for the drills, as well.
Grammar Bites appeal to all levels of competence, either beginners or advanced and they don''t have a date of expiry! They can be used time and again, by teachers and students alike. The underlining theory of all the phenomena is presented in the target language, while numerous examples are listed, for every different case.
For any teacher or student wishing to view the presentation of the phenomena in English only, there is a series of corresponding lessons, under the general title: "Piece of Cake". Therefore, you can download and study a lesson about the English irregular verbs-FREE. Useful URLs:
