The wernicks area is a part of the human brain responsible for
language comprehension. It is important to note however that language comprehension takes place first before language production. That part of the human brain responsible for language production is known as the Brocas Area. During early chilhood education,children
usually follow the regular pattern of language
development which are crying,cooing,barbling, gurgling. This four stages of language development is also known as the pre-linguistic stage.At this stage, crying is use to communicate pain,hunger,discomfort etc, cooing is tha sound produce by the
child when he/she is about to relax.Barbling is simply a
stage when the child is trying to communicate verbally but what is being siad is meaningless. Other stages of language development include, one word stage, two word stage,phenonemes,etc.Now it is important to know this stages of language development since having sound knowledge about them will sustain positive relationship between the primary agent in early childhood
education and the child. The parent of the child are usually the primary agent in early childhood education.They are responsible for the early socialization of their children talking about mother tongue development,morals, values etc.At this stage, the child learns f5rom people in his or her immediate environment such as father, mother, uncles, aunties,brothers,sisters,nephews,neices,etc.
Gender usually constitute a major factor in the early socialization of children. Take for instance where a male child learns his father's trade or another instance where a female child learns her mother's trade these sometimes sum up to determine wath the child will be in the future Jean Peaget one of the pioneer of early chilhood education was able to establish the fact that there are four stages of child development viz:- sensory motor stage,pre- operational stage, concrete operational stage and formal operational stage.
