After
almost 1/2 year, European Union banned Indonesia airlines to serving the
European route because of safety
lack. Universal Safety Overside Audit
Program(USOAP) issues which contained data of
aircraft accident generate by
ICAO was used to banned Indonesia airlines. Even the airlines safety quality
being conducted by Indonesia
Government, EU didn’t delete the banned. EU didn’t
respect Indonesia government achievement in safety quality fixing.
Protesting
EU act, Indonesia government request airlines to stop buying European made
aircraft such as Airbus if they didn’t delete the banned. For these, aircraft
registration will not conduct in Europe for airlines who buy airplane from
them. The aircraft registration completion will cost airline about USD 200,000.
It’s a part of protest from Indonesia, even President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono
canceled his trip to Europe even the presidential airplane was execption and
permit to land in European airports.
The
banned by European, Indonesia will do the same to audit both European airlines such
as Lufthansa and KLM in term for studying. Will Indonesia also treat to banned
European airlines to land at Indonesia Airport as a part of protest? Or just
cutting their frequencies and route to Indonesia? This is just another related
