My Christmas
Christmas are one of the most important holidays in whole twelvemonths. In this year. I didn''t go to anywhere. First time in my life I spent Christmas in house. When somebody lives in a small flat he doesn''t have so many facilities to celebrate holiday as person who has own big house.
This was a special and unique time. In this
year we were able to invited our whole family. Together were about twenty people. When the first star began shined we shared with everybody a wafer and everyone wished each other all the best in coming year. Next we sat down and we
started to ate our Christmas supper. On the table were exactly twenty dishes. The
number of
dishes is equal to the number of the Apostles. Among the dishes there were red borsch, sour cabbage, fish soup, fried carp, poppy-seed cake and gingerbread. After the dinner we started unpacked gifts which we got from Santa Claus. Even if somebody didn''t show that and he was glad of this what he got. Aboit midnight majority in a special midnightmass. Unfortunately not everyone can enjoy good health. The old members of our family stayed in home and they were watching
midnightmass transmission from Vatican. On 25 th December people in our country usually visit their relatives or friends, but in this year we had so many guestes in our
house that we didn''t have to go anyway. We were satting in living room, admiring our Christmas tree, non - stop talking, laughing to each other and sanging Christmas carols. We also were ateing great dishes, which my mum cooked on this Christmas. This time was very unique and magical. This was a period of forgivness and peace. This special atmosphere give me power the whole year and I always wait for next Christmas with some impatience.
