With  so much developments and technological breakthroughs worldwide,  man has been so overwhelmed with everyday activities. These hundreds of things to do when overdone may cause stress. stress comes from the Latin word Sirictus, which means being constricted or delimited. An expert on stress management, Dr. Hars Seyle, defined stress as the wear-and-tear of our bodies due to life activities. It is the overall result of the body''s reactions to situations that make us worried, irritated, excited or even fearful.Life experiences in everything we do may cause stress. Stress in itself is not bad. However, there is a certain level of stress beyond our control that makes our lives miserable.  These stress-causing events may be termed as stressors. Our body to a certain extent can deal with stress and function well. But whenever there are a number of stresses such as deadlines, household chores, bills to pay, death of a loved-one, or even office work overload, then these may harm our well-being if we are not able to resolve them.Certainly, we must live in a balanced lifestyle. Too little stress makes life boring; too much problems or stresses may cause us suffer from tension and anxiety. In turn, these may lead us to the inability to take care of one''s health and may cause ailments such as headache, migraine, insomnia, hypertension, heart attack, nervous breakdown, sleep disorders, loss of appetite, back pain, ulcer, etc.When are stressed, we tend to think a lot of our concerns. We are rushing things out to do everything in one sitting even if it will need sometime to finish a task. Stress experts say mental rush is one of the causes of tension. One positive way of doing things is to relax one''s mind to relieve stress. It is better to work in a tight schedule with a relaxed mind rather working with worried mind. You can do more when you are relaxed. Take some break in between tense situations. This will loosen up your heart-breaking sessions. Make priorities by enlisting what should be done first. You can not make all things at the same time. Do the most important and the rest will follow.
