Article Summary by: PauloSecundo

Original Author: Paulosecundo. Written article with the book Inteligência Multifocal as bibliographical reference.
We freely choose all our
reactions? Why some reactions seem to be instantaneous? Why others seem to be
incontrollable?
Others totally contrary to our values and believes? The
researcher and writer Augusto Cury, after more than 17 years of studies of the
behavior of human mind, affirms that in the unconscious backstage of our
intelligence there is a series of psychodynamics mechanisms that financing the
work of our mind. The more important discoveries are the verification of 4
Great phenomena that are responsible for the financing of our thoughts and
emotions. The second in this list of articles is the Self- Examination of
Memory. The Self-Examination is an Unconscious Intrapsychic Phenomenon
responsible by the instantaneous lecture of our memory – beginning with a
particular stimulus – producing the first aggregation of thoughts and the first
emotional reactions that soon after that will be molded, temperate, manipulate,
redirected, lapidated, and criticized by us in a conscious level.
When you enter in your bedroom
and, lies down in your bed, you perceive that there is a poison snake under the
sheets. By the Multifocal Intelligence Theory - drawn in the book of same name,
written by Dr. Cury – the Self-Examination of Memory, in milliseconds, capture
the image of the snake and seek, between billions of files in your memory,
providing by experiences and insights of your entire live, the information
about such stimuli and what such stimuli represent to you “this is a snake,
what’s mean to have a snake so close to me?” Immediately, this self-examination
produces the first emotional reactions: panic, fear, death sensation and
tragedy sensation, terror and felling of total personal vulnerability for have
the awareness that, by pure luck or by a major force, you don’t was bite by the
poison animal. After some more seconds you have the awareness of the danger of the
circumstance in that such fact happen “the snake was inside your bedroom, on
top of your bed, under the sheets, exactly in the side in which your wife sleep
and in which your daughter wake up you in the Saturday morning”. The thoughts
amaze you ever more, “what would happen if the snake was bite me?” The pain,
the sensation of the saliva in contact with your skin. You maybe have been never
bite for any snake before, but if the previous idea, the concept image that you
have of that animal was similar as a cold person, bad e sarcastic, this “pre”
“concept”, within the intellect-emotional stream in which you are inside, will
be check by a navigation channel for the files of memory, this channel is
possible and temporary produced by the specific dynamic intellect-emotional
stream that you are in such moment. You could imagine typical things of
cartoons, the snake expressing herself of various forms, the penetrating eyes
of her when injecting the poison inside you, the motions of the snake like if she
was saying “I got you!”
Suddenly, you’ve the
verification that you’re traveling without moving to the place, of how far this
thoughts disturbed you, disturbed your emotional state, all this produced by a Self-Stream
in a domino-effect where a idea led to other idea, and other, and other. in the
most part of time, that facts happen without your direct interaction.
