This research is a descriptive-exploratory study which objective is to analyze, know, and describe the average
personality patterns in a
sample of consumers of different
psicoactive substances (N=40) of both genders, participants of the advising and motivation sessions of the “Lugar de Escucha” Program at Centro de Informacion y Educacion para la Prevencion del Abuso de Drogas (CEDRO) in Lima, Perú.
The data was collected using the Inventario Clínico Multiaxial de Millon (MCMI-II) and the Ficha de Atención (FdA). After data processing and
descriptive analysis, it was founded a high number of scales with significant
indicators among the most relevant results. The Aggressive-Sadic (93,3), Antisocial (91,5) and Passive-Agressive (91,3) personality patterns show the highest indicators into the sample of SPA consumers. In the other hand, the Drug Dependence Scale has shown to be effective for diagnosting this disease, founding significant indicators related to a sample of psicoactive substances consumers.
