Parent figures play a fundamental part in the way a child will develop her psicologic process. The emocinal and affective core of a child will have as base not only how they parents act towards them but also how they act toeards each other. Flaws in that relashionship ou lack of protective interaction in that divorce process may cause that child to have dificulties having relashionships with friends, family members, teachers and even herself or himself. The divorce of parents, when it is poorly integrated by the child, can bring changes and sequels to endanger all its growth. Although the divorce is only between the parents, the child is confused as to how she or he is going manage that within themselves once for them it remains well together and united (father and mother). There may be successive attempts to reconnect parents and the denial about the reality of the separation. Unlike mourning, in which there is a definite loss of someone beloved, when theres a divorce the child retains the possibility of something that might be reversible, feeding the hope and illusion. The loss may not be immediately felt and with the same intensity of mourning, but it remains an intermittent manner as long as the child doesn''t accept the divorce of their parents. This prevents the childs from quietly devoting themselves to their thoughts, fantasies and games, to invest and devote most of their time to imagine and attempt a rapprochement between the parents. Although the divorce is undoubtedly the best option that the couple can make, and take into matter that the child will live in an environment more healthy without the constant marital fights, in fact not always the divorce ensures greater serenity and stability . Sometimes, divorce is a continuation or even the start of persistent conflicts in which the child will have the role of intermediate link between the two. It´s often, during a divorce or separation of their parents, changes in the behaviour of the child, (crying easily, lower grades in school, disobedience, anxiety, among others). For these and other reasons, a therapeutic process, with the child, in parallel to a parental advisory, could prevent the development of problematic consequences on their development.
