The Emotional disease: lack of love and the Emergence of Neuroses

Book Review by: lufalcao

Original Author: Luzia Aparecida Falcão Costa
Why is it that there is a progress of different types of emotional illness in society today? There are many causes, however,
is part of the psychological consensus that, in general, are directly related to how each individual is introduced in social experiences. It is true that each person, being single, reacts according to his way of being and looking at life when exposed to different circumstances in their process of development and integration into society. Has been duly established that no human being born neurotic, but that can become one among many existing ones as part of a neurotic society, typical of current times, confused, uncertain and full of violent acts performed by different people, belonging the different social classes. Therefore, it is from the moment the child becomes part of that company that starts the process of mental and emotional deterioration, creating potential for future cases of neurosis. Should be regarded as neurotic and any individual who makes a break inside of his personality, and from thence to become a person divided: it is no longer just one, but multiple beings at the same time. There is a part that it reflects, reasons, but his feelings fluctuate and usually identifies itself more with what they feel, rather than think. And this is another factor that contributes to feelings of oppression and repression touch, since it is guided more by emotion than by reason. And this is what enters the great responsibility they have parents and teachers, since they are both responsible for training of children as young people. It is through their influence that these new beings should be shaped by learning to suppress and not come into line with negative feelings because, as we know, all need to feel loved and, for this feeling is achieved, can not abandon its essence interior, delivering to illusory sensations of acceptance group, because when a person ceases to be itself, is to present a face that his, for not being original, is obviously false. This is an important point to be discussed with children and young people, because the world today, for being frivolous and materialistic, ultimately induce them to adopt false images of themselves that way to open up future neurotic processes, as will not understand what their real needs and genuine. To disregard those that are real and replace them with symbolic, the individual will always feel dissatisfied, why not find anyone in the back the affective response that looks so deeply: to be loved, need basic, natural and inherent in every being human. Hence the importance of guidance and personal life to be given so that each human being can understand that, although large crowds are always watching it, it will not suffice, nor will you internal satisfaction in full, therefore their basic need to love and be loved only be filled by a person who has hurt, it offers the much desired attention and you pay the spontaneous love that both search and need.
