Mind in Meditation

Article Abstract by: geturmind

Original Author: get ur mind
The human mind is the center or the source of all our thoughts and actions in this life. Our lives are fully guided and steered
in a direction that we really do not have a choice in the circumstances. This means we are slaves to the desires of our mind. The present situation which makes sense something very powerful in our lives is totally wrong and this became the cause of all our woes in life.
Intellect is only a tool given to us for a particular purpose. Like all other tools, should be under our control and is used when we need it. To make sense becomes a perfect tool, we have to clean the desires dirty and improve the balance that had been lost. Therefore, cleaning and hygiene to produce reasonable arrangements for the thoughts and actions and ultimately produces order and cleanliness in our lives.
The mind is the inner response to stimuli coming in through sensory or coming from within the mind itself. The mind can also be a source of all evil and everything good in this world. Negative thoughts will create things that are negative, whereas positive thoughts will create things that are positive as well.
"The mind is very difficult to see, very soft and smooth; mind moves as he pleased. The wise man is always keeping his mind, someone who would be happy to keep his mind." (Dhammapada Atthakatha, 36).
Maybe between us as humans have ever felt cheated by our own minds so that we continue to be dragged and swept into the story of illusion created by mind.  Sometimes wild thoughts become so difficult to control, can be controlled when the mouth will speak and when to rest, the body can be set to silent and motionless, but the mind is something that is most difficult to control. The mind that is difficult to control it then will affect the mouth and body. So that the uncontrollable thoughts that will produce a variety of acts of speech and action that can cause suffering. Happiness can be achieved if we have succeeded in controlling the mind is good.
