countries social agencies in the form of welfare organizations are taking care of the social problems.

SECURITY was started for the welfare of the citizens in America.. The structure of the plan was designed to suit the family structures of those days. With times family structures are changed, and they create a number of odd problems in the system.
Why do we have a social security system?
More than one third of the world population is still under extreme poverty.
Each and every country needs social security for old age survivors, disabled,
retired workers, wives of the deceased, widowers, and children. .Social security is a promise for the future generation. It is a fair solution for social problems. . In US social security is a great success. People would like to go there and settle for the financial security they get
Who receives social security benefits? In US more than 47.5 million people receive monthly benefit .Almost two third of the social security
beneficiaries are retired workers including men and women. Thirteen percent of the beneficiaries are disabled. Wives of the retired workers, spouses of the disabled, widows and widowers are 10 percent. of the beneficiaries. Children are 8 percent of the beneficiaries. To protect the workers and their families, health care and long term care are given by the social security. This scheme protects every man, woman and child.
How the social security gets the funds?
Social security is a system of “
pay as you go”, which means current worker would pay for the current retirees through taxes . It is through pay roll tax. It allows the government to generate more income from the wealthy workers. The retirees depend on social security benefits. With these funds social security can play it’s role successfully.
Is there insecurity for social security?
Nothing is permanent in this world. But it is a major step to protect the needy citizens.
The future of social security is unpredictable .In general People’s longevity has been increased . There is a large drop out in the worker to beneficiary ratio. Such beautiful system which helps the individuals financially is really a boon to the people. But human greed is a bigger obstacle for the social and economic growth. Corruption is a killer disease to exploit the weak and the vulnerable. Corruption unchecked will eat out the social order like white ants. A corrupt organization is an organized crime. Corruption is a rotten fruit filled with worms. To eradicate these social evils a good social system is needed. No social practice is universally good or bad, We should formulate healthy social policy
If there is no social security scheme the country’s development will neverprogress .It is a major concern for the developed countries. It is a protective mechanism for the needy .Social security is a promise for the future generation.
Social security removes the insecurity. It maintains social and economic stability. It gives discretionary universal benefits. Social security is the heart to maintain social justice. It is the moral responsibility of every citizen to discharge their social obligations That is the nation’s strength. Man is characterized by his respect for social code of conduct. In such societies social security can function with full vigor. Then the meaning of social security will be fruitful .Any peaceful social order is possible only if all the citizens faithfully perform their duties .
