There are some famous characters of Egyptians any forigner or a tourist can notice when he/she comes to Egypt,this may be of benefit for tourists who plans to visit Egypt. 1-Egyptians are so friendly and smile to all forigners,in fact Egyptians like to talk to forigners and tourists .A toursit may find it strange that all
people look at him and smile and you may get embarrassed but this is Egyptians nature.. 2-when a tourist arrive in the air port ,he finds many taxis and drivers are boring becasue they insist to offer him their drive (they try to find their living but the way of insisting may be not nice) so just ignore them if you wait for a bus belonging to your touristic company. 3-When Egyptians talk,their voices are loud. when you hear two people or more
talking or discussing anything,you may get scared and think they are fighting but the fact they just talk. 4-If there is a real fight ,mostly talking agressively but may develop to fight by hands(Egyptians donot use guns or such things)the law doesnot allow any one to have a gun except by a license and a good excuse to have it . 5-Egyptians donot like the police . The way of treating people is not good. Besides ,there are many political prisoners. 6-Shop owners in touristic
places always try to convince toursists to buy things ,a tourist may find it disturbing . 7-Egyptians like talking and knowing other people so donot be surprised if someone asks about your religion,your age,you are single or married and how many children you have and even your salary.Western people may think it is interference in private life but Egyptian doesnt intend that at all,he just eager to know what is
going on other countries. 8- Taxis and other vehicle drivers ride fast and may exceed the maximum speed. 9-Toursits going out in a group is better than going alone . 10-if you are asking about a place ,donot worry you just ask and you will find tens of people stop and try to direct you ,even may go with you to the place you want. 11-Englsih is taught in schools so you may find many say English words but they are not fluent so you may understand a few words. 12-most of advertisments and instructions in streets and roads are written in both arabic and English. 13-priests and emams has beards,priests wear dark colored
clothes and have long beareds .emams mostly wear white clothes and have short beards or long ones . 14-most of Egyptians are sunni muslim and christians are mainly orhtodox christians . 15-you may find it strange to see almost every minute a man wearing a police man or army clothes .you may ask yourself ,this country had millions of police men.Donot pay attention. Those men are not only police men.According to the color of clothes and type,They belong to police or millitary or marines or he is a technician in the army.but around museums and touristique places you will see many police men and police cars, by the way some police men in these places wear citizen clothes.
