When did the ''Happy Slapping'' generation begin? Did it start with parents? Or is it the government?
No-one can really be sure, but I was looking in my stepson''s phone a few days ago and was disgusted by what I saw. All it contained was scenes of violence, either pretend fighting or a real brawl that someone had actually filmed for ''fun''. There were even images of animals being thrown from balconies - no cats don''t always land on their feet by the way. All of these images can be found on ''you tube'' (Link supplied!) which seems to be where all the neanderthols of today share their obvious law breaking, because they know in today''s society there will be nobody to stop them.
Something needs to be done and urgently, these children are soon going to be having children and is this what they want to subject them to? Because I wouldn''t - they don''t agree with what they''ve been told so their either going to punch hit kick or even (the latest one) headbutt you. This isn''t just the older children, my 5 year old step son the other day came home from school swearing and shouting that he didn''t have to do as he was told and no-one could stop him.
In my opinion its high time that things were changed. Drastic times call for drastic measures do they not? I think that all children from pre-school upwards need to be taught the basic manners that a lot of them no longer learn at home from their parents. In the past if a child misbehaved at home then they got the belt from dad, or a clip round the ear from mum. I always will remember dad telling me ''in his day'' (lol) you didn''t cheek a police officer becasue you''d get a clip round the ear, then worse was they would visit your mum / dad and let them know what you had been up to, no matter where you hid gran and grandad always found him and he couldn''t sit down for a week. But that was the first and last time he cheeked a police officer - lesson learned no?
Children are no longer respecting teachers, police officers or in fact anyone that happens to be in authority. So does anyone agree that its time for things to go back to how they were, naughty in school - cane, naughty at home - clip round the ear!!
Bring back corparal punishment and see jails empty and no more ''Happy Slapping''!
