Heat and pressure below the surface of the earth can bring about changes in the minerals of igneous and
sedimentary rocks, which transform into new types of rocks. This process is called metamorphic which means changes. Sedimentary rocks are made under the seas. Sometimes a sea gets dried up. Sedimentary rocks are exposed to wind and rain. In course of same time a new kind of rock is formed. These are nothing but metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks are hard and tough rocks.
