Man sets wife, little daughter

One more attempt of killing his own
wife and daughter has been reported in the Times of India, in which the one and half years old daughter
has died and the mother is struggling for life in the hospital with 80% burn. Without
doubt we can say that this is not an isolated case where R Venugopal carried
out the heinous act of burning his wife and daughter for a reason beyond our
imagination. V Asha is admitted in the Victoria Hospital, whereas the killer
husband has disappeared from the place. The man in question Venugopal wanted to
marry another woman which his wife Asha objected. The incident happened in the
afternoon of 8th May and the neighbors rushed to their residence at
Manjunath Layout, R K Puram for help after they heard screams of burning Asha.
This shocking news may lose its
sheen with the passing of time and we will keep on hearing more such news. The government
in question needs to take appropriate action to prevent such ghastly acts to save
innocent children and women. The authorities
in the state and in the center should bring in such laws by which these
criminal minded people are deterred from committing unnecessary murders at
their will.
