As I walk in town a lot I never fail to notice the Vans and Staff of Southampton City Council
who cross my path either on public transport or the big white van moves as I do so I began
to draw up a sketch or a poem of the whole city encompassing a view of the South
where the City is jam packed with Southampton City Council Vans and Staff in spite of
the recent closures of the local Rent Office at Swaythling. But I hasten to add that I often
wonder if the Natural Weather Disasters are created by closures as if afterall you knock
down the House of God where can you offer protection from the outside world, so
if the Floods of Biblical Proportion and the Mini Earthquakes torment our World
then possibly its time to build again, rebuild the empty spaces and create a new
protection a new structure a new house for all to look to in times of hardship or emergency.
So the Southampton City Vans still drive up and down the streets after all our hard work
to keep on going during the Very Cold Weather here. Hard work pays UP!
