.With the image of its career, the last match of Bocandé had for main words, glory, emotion and size.

It was Tuesday, May 15, 2012, its last appearance in Demba Diop stadium; its last on a lawn of football. And for the ultimate match of Bocandé, the emotion has been high. A match which was to last 90 minutes, but which slipped towards the prolongations, to last, with the finish 123 minutes.

But it was certainly to the image of the glory of Bocandé.

The emotion starts to go up at 16:20, when the mortal remains made its appearance at the stage.

At 16:29, its former fellow-members of the national team and those of Casa Sports penetrate on the lawn of Demba Diop. And like a symbol, it is the referee of the famous final of 1980, Bakary Sarr, which officiated during this match.

At 16:32, the kick-off is given. And the first shivers traverse the spans of Demba Diop, when the hearse makes the turn of the stage, under the applause of the public. The whole accompanied by the music by the brass band by the armed forces, on a sad air. Still like a symbol, its former partners of Casa and from the national team come to seek it to deposit its skin right in front of the touchline.

At 16:43, the choral society of the Martyrs of Uganda strikes up a song with the glory of Bocandé.

At 17:01, it is the Head of State, Mr. Macky Sall, who makes its appearance on the lawn of Demba Diop. It is then time to carry out the national anthem. Then, a prayer will be said to 17:06.

At 17:17, it is the beginning of testimonies. And it is Ousmane Ndiaye “Complicated” of Casa Sports, who opens

The turn comes then from Pierre Goudiaby “Atépa”, who spoke in the name of the Collective about the executives of Casamance. Certainly the speech more moving by the afternoon. Atépa initially considered that yesterday, “it was the most beautiful match of Bocandé, and that, consequently, it marked its more beautiful goal”.

At 17:38, it is with the turn of Abdoulaye Diaw to pay homage to Bocandé, by recalling the course and the outstanding facts of its footballistic career.

At 17:45, it is with the turn of old international to magnify their fellow-members, and Sheik Seck will go up with members of the generation 2002, in fact Fadiga, Diouf, Sylva and Moussa Ndiaye. Sheik Seck retains of Bocandé “the angel which flew over the match against Zimbabwe with its 3 goals”. Fadiga, in tears, points out a “uncle who always advised us”. And Diouf thanks “that which took part in 80% with its success”.

In the name of the family, Arthur Dasylva, the uncle de Bocandé, will thank the sporting world to have accompanied Bocandé, it was at 18:05.

Lastly, at 18:25, president Macky Sall enclosed the interventions, by pointing out that Bocandé was “a worthy son of Senegal, one of the largest sportsmen of the country, recognized by his power, his tenacity. What makes a hero of them”.

At 18:35, Bakary Sarr, moved, whistles the end of the match. After 123 minutes of play.
