AFP blogged the despairing news that Fergie the Duchess of York and ex wife of the Royal Family Member Prince Andrew Duke of York has been snubbed by lack of an invitation to the Royal
Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Westminister Abbey in London on 29 April 11.
Fergie has been in a newspaper sting which means, I believe, a hint or a touch of scandal in the Press, as she had some business with connecting the News of the World to her ex husband Prince Andrew and she is reported to have said /serious lapse of judgement/ and Fergie The Duchess of York also known as Sarah Ferguson apologised. However, on the positive and better news side of this report are the facts that the Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice who have been invited to the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William and William is their cousin... will take Mum's place I guess!
I must admit I was at the Catholic Mass last week and listened to a Young Cleric pounding on about divorce and how some woman he knows . and he shouldnt know any woman personally, was not allowed to get married as she was divorced and is a divorcee.
But I wondered why the Catholic Church would be stepping on the grounds of the Protestant Church as Divorce is surely seen as a Protestant affair especially in Europe as my former boss used to say .. consider Henry 8th of England . he started English Protestant Divorce! So, I suppose with Fergie here publicly snubbed perhaps the Clergyman felt sorry for her and felt there must be some justice and forgiveness in the world and after all in the light of their recent conduct even the British Royal Family are not perfect. But it seems to be a major concern in England the subject of divorce so therefore it is synonymous with divorce and besides Fergie Duchess of York will be out of town, and Overseas during the great day of the Royal Wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William .........lets hope the new to be marriage is a happy event!
