So the day begins with yet another wonderful RAVE review of the Magnificent City of Istanbul and this time it
comes from the Turkish Digest and there are lots of wonderful photos showing the sights and sounds of
Istanbul in Turkey. The news is coming late on the much debated subject of JFK Jr and his new bride
Carolyn Bassett : it seems that JFK Jr took his new bride to the City of Istanbul in 1996 - dare I say it was it
on honeymoon.

Certainly Istanbul is a romantic spot and the food is described by everyone as delicious and the focus today is
on Turkish Tea: Chai in Turkish and I shared news of my pleasure in sipping Turkish Tea when I was last
in Istanbul in 2OO8 but these days because of restrictions I have to cut back on all tea to reduce 2 bags to 1 bag in terms of tea drinking in order to afford ... according to my Dr ...... an improvement in my health, so I have been
following Dr's orders and feel much better but in terms of Turkish Tea I suppose one would have to reduce the
number of times one drank Turkish Tea thus it would not be a problem dining there and therefore it would
be still a pleasure to participate and drink the occasional : delight ... i.e. Turkish Tea.

Istanbul creates the author in one as its absolutely right for writing and the idea of the writer's room is still
albeit in the past, a great asset to any author who needs the inspiration of a Culture such as that found in
the Magnificent City of Istanbul.

Looking back in fond memories and provoked by the news of JFK Jr and his new bride Carolyn Bassett
going to Istanbul in 1996 to that Romantic City reminds me of what I was doing in 1996 ...... teaching at all
times .. ....... member of Southampton Executive .... and a College Lecturer also so I was very busy with
family living around the corner, unlike now where we are 2 Continents apart. Wonderful nostalgia and
thanks Turkish Digest for a fond lookback at the Romantic Spots in the City of Istanbul, Turkey.
