Prince Charles-a Small Pleading for Transilvania Landscapes

Website Summary   by:Sheyshellia
ª

The place is of a unique beauty in the world, and, even if in Romania, it is at the same time full of a Saxon pattern. His Royal Highness launches by his exposure an appeal to the preservation of the natural and cultural values of this region which he visited for the first time in 1997. The Prince loves Transilvania and its inhabitants as well, together with their specific seasonal preoccupations. He owns several houses in this area and he has patronized the Transilvania Fest yearly festival last time held in October 2010, a manifestation aiming to help in its development and turistic popularization. Also in October, a program at the Romanian Embassy of Washington was honoured to start with a speech of Prince Charles of Wales.
His Royal Highness describes briefly some of the important aspects to be taken into consideration, and he expresses especially an urgent appeal for contributing to the conservation of this area, a treasure for agriculture too, trying to make clear that its degradation would not exempt the entire mankind from serious, unavoidable penalties ( a video can be watched at http://www.adevarul.ro/actualitate/eveniment /Printul_Charles_promoveaza_Transilvania-_- Este_o_bogatie_unica_in_lume_0_356364860.html)
Lots of thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales for such an initiative and special support...!
