Oddly enough I have been a fan of the former Poet Laureate Sir Andrew Motion now for going on 5 years so I was interested to discover in "Motion" and his online blogs that Andrew Motion read Heaney while at Oxford! A bald statement if ever I read one but nevertheless a revelation and Motion is a 50 something I believe. I was a 50 something and retired as a teacher but I managed to conduct a relationship with my Students Days College in England and I too have a confession to make, which is that I read Heaney all those years ago and its only now as a Sexy Sixties Poet and Writer I can reveal all of this to our readership in the Middle East. I suppose one might wonder why all the secrecy> A writer I read recently claimed that as a result of reading Heaney she developed a passion for cats something to do with cats but no mention of dogs.
Therefore, now that the cat is out of the bag, and Motion and I both read Heaney at College .. University what is the outcome of all of it. I suppose Motion became the Poet Laureate for 10 years and I became a best selling writer in 2000 and I have been Nominated 3 times this year 2010 by
