Bengali literary award winner writer Taslima Nasrin`s LAJJA is still in controversy for the claim of offending religious views.LAJJA means SHAME. The book caused religious tensions in Bangladesh and India and was banned by the government of Bangladesh.The Islamic activists pronounced death sentence against Taslima Nasreen and offered $ 2000 to anybody who killed her as a result she fled from her native land Bangladesh seeking shelter from one country to another. .
