The Times carries a frontpage story:
The Dairies of a dissident Prince! Apparently HRH The Prince of Wales is in a spot of bother because somebody had read his private diaries and his closest secrets were sold to Fleet Street Newsmen - his wide ranging thoughts were on subjects as diverse as the Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair to the scrapping of the Royal Yacht Britannia - the newspapers lawyers argued there was clear hostility evident in this diaries belonging to HRH The Prince of Wales! It seems that nothing is sacred these days! I recall a few years ago I was chatting to friends and colleagues in Ireland and I turned around and my private diary had been stolen! It contained a lot of very private information! In fact, those involved were so angry that nothing was done about it - and we had a five year silence from all concerned as a result of the leaking of the secrets contained in my own black diary! Its only recently that we have resumed, need I say, very friendly relations and now I never carry anything confidential at all in my diary!
