This is in reference to Shobha De''s "Bride''s Father-in-law" (April 29). Much has been talked and written about the filimi wedding. De''s one is a well thought one. The Indian media is still carrying their publicity even after getting the big jolt. That is the specialty of our media. Our paparazi''s and the Journo''s played a major role in these celebrities'' present position and status, in return they received a big insult and pain in the name of "intrusion". The Bachens'' are fully well aware about their bahu''s (The golden goose) worth, and what she is going to bring to the family through this marriage. Somewhere i read, her minute is worth a crore, after all she charged a whopping three crore for a three minutes performance at the 2006 commonwealth games in Melbourne. Knowing fully well of the golden opportunity to spin more gold out of the event Bachen''s avoided the Indian media for a few extra bucks to a foreign agency. Mr. Bachen''s betrayal to the Indian media shows nothing but his greediness for more. What a big plunge the celebrities sometimes make. Let the Indian media and the fans absolve them. P V Ariel
