Keivom/News Ledger''s body is brought out of SoHo residence. An autopsy on movie star Heath Ledger was inconclusive and more tests are needed, the medical examiner''s office said today - less than 24 hours after the Oscar nominee was found dead in a SoHo loft with sleeping pills nearby. It will take about 10 days to complete the investigation, said Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner. Police said earlier that detectives were "investigating the possibility of an overdose." Ledger, 28, was found dead in his Broome St. loft yesterday, naked in a bedroom filled with sleeping pills and anti-depressants. "He was found on the floor, naked, facedown at the foot of the bed," Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne said. "We are investigating the possibility of an overdose... There were pills within the vicinity of the bed." The two women called 911, and FDNY paramedics spent a half hour trying unsuccessfully to revive Ledger - a critics'' darling who recently wrapped his role as the Joker in the latest "Batman" movie. Friends told investigators that Williams booted Ledger from the Brooklyn home they shared with their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, because of a drug problem, a police source said. Police said no suicide note was found in the $24,000-a-month rental apartment and no foul play was suspected. In addition to the sleeping pills, cops found bottles of the anti-anxiety drug Valium and the anti-depressant Zoloft in the home, a source said. The masseuse who found Ledger, Diane Lee Wolozin, was still in shock this morning and declined to talk about his death. She left her Manhattan apartment shortly after 9 a.m. and, with a somber expression, walked arm-in-arm with a pal to a fitness studio. "It''s very sad," Wolozin said. A friend of Wolozin described her as distraught in the wake of Ledger''s death. "She''s fragile enough as it is," the said. "Just give it some time." Ledger''s father, Kim, standing with his weeping ex-wife, Sally, and daughter Kate in Australia, called his son''s death "very tragic, untimely and accidental," and said he was found "peacefully asleep." Williams, who met Ledger on the "Brokeback" set, was flying to New York from Sweden last night. Her father, Larry Williams, told Australian media she was devastated.
"The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved dearly," he said. "He adored his daughter Matilda, and when Michelle called it quits, he missed Matilda so much that he was thrown into a deep, dark depression," a source told London''s Daily Mail. "Heath was living in New York to be close to his daughter."
