Pakistan is facing crisis from load shedding of electricity upto 12 hours daily (as shortage reached upto a level of 2000 megawatt) and Natural Gas as well. This results the sky rocketing prices of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Due to the usage of LPG as a fuel for generators and transport. In this article the author is blaming the Govt authorities seems to be completely helpless in enhancing supply and controlling the prices.Due to the wrong policies of Previous Govt that is of PML(Q) the consumer is facing the rise of each and every thing prices which includes LPG as well. LPG is used for transportation purpose in the areas of Karachi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and for household in the areas where supply of natural gas is not possible. Pakistan is facing about 900-1000 metric tons shortage of LPG daily. As it produces about 1400-1600 tons per day and the requirement is about 2500 tons per day. This is the major cause of price hike.Other problem is that the Govt was not looking or controlling the dealers, marketers and producers of LPG.The present Govt has taken incentives to make the prices under control of (OGRA) and to separate the prices of LPG from Saudi Arabia control price.Govt has also banned on using LPG as a fuel for transport purposes, some people think it result in the corruption cases, as people use LPG for transport fuel purpose. And this is not the right way to control. The final person which is affected by all the efforts and steps of Govt and dealers is the consumer.
