Attack after attack was carried out by the terrorists from Pakistan and the Indian Government eye washed the people of India with rhetorics. Pakistan got away with their delay tactics through rhetorics, and picking up loose pieces of statement made by Indian leaders on different platforms.
Isn't it too late to state that Pakistan's denial has a pattern by our foreign minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee? How many more attacks by Pakistani terrorists would be enough for this government to take definitive action against Pakistan strongly.
America is playing their diplomacy to prevent India from taking strong action against this rogue country. But, why India, a sovereign country as well as powerful in terms of finance, defense, and manpower, has to alter their foreign policy under the pressure of super power? India must not be cowed down by the pressure of any country, be it US, UK, or for that matter any other country, for the sake to its security.
Look at the resolve of a small but strong willed country like Israel? this country, sitting amidst almost all enemy country, is carrying out their plans with action not rhetorics.
I fully agree that discussions and mutual communications are the key to solve any problem, but that has a limit. Frequent denials and stubborn attitude should be taken seriously and action shoud be initiated.
All wars with Pakistan was inflicted on us by that country and we had shown our superiority by winning all of those. Then, why is this fear from the part of our government? Leaders must act like leaders and take quick decisive action without much delay.
Yesterday's statement by our Home Minister in respect to snapping all ties with Pakistan is welcome. But the same question arises, why not we started the process soon after the 26/11 attack on Mumbai by taking cognizance of it?
A country, weak or strong, will not gain long term respect and power if it does not match its rhetorics and action meaningfully. A big defense force with billions of dollars of arms and ammunitions, skilled trained personnel, highly intelligent command officers all are nothing if these are not utilized at an appropriate time to save and secure our country from foreign terrorist attacks.
Pakistan is a country surviving on the track of anti-Indian policies. Their leaders somehow manage to convince US that it is the best partner of US in fight against terror. The US clearly understands their ploy, yet continue military and civil aid to that country for reasons best known to them. But, why we should buckle down under pressure? Aren"t we mature enough to think about the acts for our good?
It is almost going to be two months after the Mumbai attack, yet no significant action has been initiated against Pakistan so far.
Failing to take action within reasonable time certainly reflects our inability, incapability, and helplessnes. Also that give sufficient time to the enemy country to arrange their defense and the dismantling of their unauthoriused targets to prove their innocence.
India has a tag of "soft country". How long we will carry this tag and lose innocent lives in our own back yards?
Mr. Mukherjee again asked Pakistan to implement its international obligations fully under various legal instruments on terrorism. With this he has proved beyond doubt India is a patient country ready to bear more attacks, isn't it?
