77 Year Old Elizabeth Taylor an American legendary actress who incidentally is Jewish is donating $100K to Christian Education in America. What an extraordinary gift to Christian education and if I lived in America I would welcome it ....... as its a much needed insert into the funding of a Christian Education Programme. However, AP comment that Liz Taylor has been inspired by the New Man in the White House the first Black ... President - Barack Obama whose views Liz Taylor wishes to endorse.
Interestingly enough we have a collection here for Christian education every Sunday at Mass in Southampton and I must admit however, it is well used as on Ash Wednesday I got down early and was very impressed by the total presentation from the Girls of St Anne's School, an All Girls Secondary School which consisted of a wide screen and a laptop/PC ... the music and the singing - very impressive .. in fact I almost phoned the Office of the Parish Priest but had to promote and market my book of poems ROCK ME .. thus adding it to this influx of excitement in America on Liz Taylor's outstanding gift to Christian Education ....
