In the distant 1886 in Bulgaria was the first organized band of highway thefts and kidnappings of four brothers Nikolov. Valio, Blago, Peter and Todor Nikolov first captive American missionary James Clark and his wife. State their mission count solid ransom. Elated by his first success, they decided to carry out bold kidnapping of Prince Ferdinand and Stefan Stambolov during their visit to the Rila Monastery - July 24, 1888 band, however, delayed by one days and released a golden opportunity. In their hands covered court photographer Karastoyanov. After not getting a ransom demands placed on him after 17 days captivity somewhere around Rila. Bandits were captured by Serbian authorities in 1888 and transferred to Bulgaria. Nikolov were sentenced to death April 26, 1889 and executed in three days after Black mosque in Sofia.
