Saving From Infatuation When You Know Its Not Love

Your dreamboy on your mind, you suddenly notice your surrounding has changed but in reality its the same as usual,you keep smiling constantly while doing some other work, anything it maybe. You become more conscious about yourself, your body, your looks, your habits, sometimes you might even intend to change some things about you for that
special one.
Its could be that your dreamlover is known to you, or your friend's friend, and sometimes they respond to you in same way you want them to. But a time comes when they are not responsive, no positive energy coming from their side.
You will and must Question yourself whether its Love or Infatuation ?
Despite the difference between the two, you are still confused which one to rely on.
Your mind is wanting to trust and believe its love, but what's the point in having one sided love.
All it does is breaks your heart in the end, if by luck your love comes true, thats an exemption.
You need to know and understand, Love and Infatuation are different from each other, thou their symptoms may be similar to each other but thats not the right thing. But you are already fallen for it(Infatuation), n this has laid a great impact on you, its beings a hungry in your mind, your body but you don't get it. You tend to do things to be near are around that person, and still you know that maybe its not love but you love the nearness. This is only hurting yourself with inner pain.
Infatuation is just love of emotion. Real love though, is love of devotion. Only the emotions are affected in infatuation, but in real love both the Emotions and Will are involved.
It is based totally on physical attraction; Often you don't know much in-depth about the person you so-called love.
According to studies made on this matter, you can examine the qualities and characteristics of love versus infatuation:
Infatuation:
* Develops rather rapidly
* Based on limited characteristics
* Based on the emotion itself
* Is self-centered
* Is multi-person centered
* Changes rapidly
* Loses touch with reality
* Largely outward or physical
* Insecure/Insecurities
* Jealous/Possessiveness

Love:
* Is grown into
* Based on the whole person
* Focuses on the person with whom you are involved
* Is other-centered
* Demonstrates a deep commitment to one person
* Is a gradual development
* Maintains balance of life and priorities
* Involved the total relationship
* Secure/Security
* Trust/Faith

Apply the above qualities on you, and watch the difference you see.
As you search for love and happiness, keep in mind that everything worthwhile requires time and effort. And if love is greatest of gifts (which it is) then, be not afraid of investing your time, energy, talents, and all that comprises the person who are into finding that person with whom you want to share your life.
