People are trying to understand why women, journalists, and staff of a political figure was murdered as if they were pigs. Almost 57 dead people were unearthed in the massacre site and their bodies were proven to be abused and mutilated by the murderers. The primary reason of the killings was politics which ignited the current situation in Maguindanao, Philippines. In the article, the author expressed the meaning of politics which has something to do with the fact that men by nature are political animals. Which is why there was a question: Is it because of politics that some innocent victims should be killed like animals by their murderers? Well, the worst scenario is that most women and journalists were abused and killed to the disadvantage and pain of their families.
It is also noteworthy that the killings was done via pre-meditation. Hence, cases of murder was filed to the accused. When the 57 dead people were unearthed, we could conclude that their fate has been sketched prior to the killings. On their way to their destination that day, they were intercepted by the accused and hundreds of goons. Later then, they were found dead. Some were even not spared despite the fact that they are only passersby. Thus, the Maguindanao Massacre is really horrendous and it must be solved as soon as possible in terms of justice.
