Now the D.A is 35% and this 10% hike will increase it to 45% w.e.f 01st July 2010. In this festival season this Increase of salary is really a bonanza for government employees.
The benefit of this declaration is for around 50 lakh employees and around 38% pensioners.
This D.A declaration is more important and the central government employees and looking for D.A than increment because they get increment is only 3% of basic, But in case of D.A it is more than the increment.
And according to the 6th central pay commission, when the D.A covers 50% some allowances will be increased by 25%. If this trend of inflation continues the next D.A will be covered this criteria. So it will be more benefitful.
