Michael Jackson died at the age of 50 last June 25, 2009.
His father re-filed his wrong-death lawsuit against Michael’s doctor, claiming that the powerful sedative that the physician negligently gave, killed his son.
Joe Jackson re-filed the case today in Los Angeles Superior Court.
He contends that Murray gave Michael Jackson the power prescription sedative propofol, which was later determined to have killed the singer.
The lawsuit also contends that Murray gave false information to paramedics and doctors and hindered efforts to revive the singer.
Murray's lawyers previously downplayed Joe Jackson's lawsuit, calling it "a press release that is intended to prejudice and inflame the jury pool and the public against' Murray.
He is charged with involuntary manslaughter and is awaiting trial.
