I've been using Netflix for quite a few months now and have been, for the most part, satisfied with their services. I like to rent the DVDs that come in the mail to my home and I mail them back when I'm done watching them. My husband goes the extra step and watches them online from the site.
I recently read an article on Yahoo news stating that sometime in the future, not sure exactly when, Netflix will no longer be offering the DVD mailing service. You will have to watch movies online.
Excuse me?
Yes, I have the internet, yes I have a PS3 but why would I not want a choice of how I watch my movies? Call me old fashioned but I like to pop a DVD in my old DVD player and watch a movie on the big screen. They based their entire site on this service and now they're going to take it away?
I'm truly disappointed because unlike Redbox, Netflix has thousands of movie choices and sometimes I like to watch an old classic, not just what's brand new on DVD.
I'll be sticking with them until the day they take my DVD choice away but after that, well, isn't Blockbuster doing online services? Guess I'll be checking that out soon.
