Recently, drug and food regulatory department in Indonesia indicates the existence of contamination in some infant formulas which contains bacteria "Enterobacter sakazakii". There has been no official statement from the government regarding with this issue yet is it truth or not. Enterobacter sakazakii can cause bacteraemia, meningitis and necrotising enterocolitis. It is a rare cause of invasive bacteria infection that usually associated with infant formula and has historically high cases that cause fatality rates around 40–80%.
