Linkedin is a concept developed I would imaging on the back of social networking but with the twist of making it business related.
Does it actually make any difference?
I have contacts on this site and wonder to myself if those I am connected to will really give me any consideration when I ask or if there business needs the services I offer.
It is I believe the modern day business card holder except you do get a little additional information, like previous employment and others recommendations.
On the flip side to my initial negativity of course I like many others hope that these contacts I have built up will come in useful in my future ventures. I am looking to start my own business in a year’s time and these people could potentially have valuable information and contacts that could aid me to do this, or even better could end up being future clients.
Who knows?
