The rest of the world are proud and happy upon hearing President Obama's statement that the figure head of Al-Qaeda, the most wanted person in the world Mr. Osama Bin Laden has been killed in his hideout in Pakistan. This, according to him brought justice to America, for Bin Laden was guilty of masterminding 9/11 attacks that killed thousands of lives of innocent people and other terrorism attacks in different areas of the world. The news of his death is a reason for Americans to celebrate. But will his death be the end for the Al-Qaeda group? Or it will only ignite their passion to harass and terrorize people?
The Islamist militants have different connections and linkages around the globe. The death of one of their leaders may be sad for them but what if they'll took counter attacks and more lives will then be sacrificed? For sure, the American government and Obama administration had been totally prepared for it. But what if they are going to divert their targets to countries who are least developed and least prepared? Islamist militants are known for developing unscrupulous strategies in order to realize their objective of using people and killing everyone who tend to be hindrances to their plans. These poor countries have no sufficient ammunitions and excellent strategies to combat terrorists.
It is indeed very true that the death of Osama is a reason for us to celebrate. For after a decade of hide and seek with him and the American troops, he was captured at last. But the world should not be lax in the fight against terrorism. Because they might just strike and will catch us unprepared.
