Executives from the former ruling party, the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD), are, according to authorities, among the 105 people arrested Tuesday by police. Arrests that are the result of tribal clashes Friday to Sunday in the town of Metlaoui (Southwest). The violence killed at least 12 dead and 100 wounded. Tunisian Prime Minister of the transition, Beji Caid Essebsi, announced Wednesday that the Constituent Assembly elections were postponed to October 23.
