The four teams consist of armed forces,
Search and Rescue teams, some members of Indonesian Red Cross are starting the
search this morning. The area where the wreckage is has been indentified but
the routes to get there is very difficult as some tracks are blocked by ravine.
Six army helicopters were also reported to have tried to deploy teams but found
it difficult as the bottom of the valley is covered with fogs. Nothing can be
seen clearly but fog. At this time the search for the wreckage of Sukhoi
Superjet 100 and 47 victims is being focused on rescue by land.
Meanwhile family members of the victims gather at Halim
Perdanakusuma International Airports in Jakarta to wait and supply the victims’
personal data just in case the worse possibility turns up. President of The
Republic of Indonesia, SBY and his wife, are also seen at the airport to
express his condolences, support and lighten the burden of grief overwhelming
the family members of the victim.
It is hoped that some of the victims can be evacuated today.
With 4(four) teams already deployed we are sure that targeted evacuation can be
accomplished. The SAR team members are reported to have climbed down the cliff
toward the the wreckage of Sukhoi Superjet 100 to find the victims. The third and
fourth team has started marching into the location to replace the second one
that entered the difficult area yesterday. We are relying on the hard work of
all deployed teams to do the best they can.
Russian team has already arrived in Jakarta to investigate
the cause of the Sukhoi plane crash. They are to be in Jakarta till they have the
result of the investigation.
