Microsoft unveiled a brand-new company logo Thursday morning, and graphic designers have given it a split vote.Microsoft change there logo in its latest bid to stifle its perennial cycle of disappointments in market sectors such as mobile phones, operating systems, search engines. It's fifth time that Microsoft has change there logo since it making first logo.

Logo Design :

The new logo features the Sego font instead of its traditional italics. The familiar curves of the Windows flag are now angular to evoke thoughts of the “tile” architecture of the Windows 8 user interface. Everyone who yearns to see what the latest Microsoft creation looks like can take a look at Microsoft.com where the company proudly displays its new signature.

The red, green, blue and yellow colors are reportedly the same as the colors from the old logo. The blue square represents Windows (neutral, cool, in the background of everything—like the sky in the XP homescreen.) The red square represents Office (active, constructive, hot like overheated brain activity.).The green square represents Xbox (fun, relaxed, where all the profit growth comes from.) That’s all great.

What about yellow square? Some people guess that it represents surface and microsoft forays in to hardware.

Some people loves Microsoft logo and some people describes it as combination of Google and Apple design products. The symbol next to the name looks straight out of Google’s design portfolio and the Segoe font looks very similar to Adobe’s Myriad Pro, most famously used throughout Apple products. So experts guess that Microsoft will get little inspiration from these brands.

Fox News quotes Jeffrey Meisner, the Microsoft general manager for brand strategy. He suggests that the four squares symbolize the large portfolio of Microsoft products

Whether this new logo will give new life to it's old failures? let's watch.....
